Order takeaway to a graveyard this Halloween – and get it for free with hungryhouse.co.uk
PRQuick.comHaving recently found that a number of people have ordered takeaway food to odd locations – including a graveyard – an online takeaway marketplace is offering free takeaway to all food lovers brave enough to order to a graveyard or cemetery this Halloween.
Recent site statistics released by an online takeaway marketplace found the oddest places people had ordered takeaway food to; including The Ritz hotel in London, a slimming organisation in Nottingham and a graveyard in North London.
Following the findings, the UK’s takeaway marketplace http://www.hungryhouse.co.uk has announced that this Halloween, between the hours of 6pm and midnight, if takeaway lovers order takeaway food to a graveyard or cemetery anywhere in the UK using the hungryhouse.co.uk service, they will get their food for free.
Launched in 2006, the website was projected into the limelight after a successful appearance on BBC’s ‘Dragon’s Den.’ Business tycoons James Caan and Duncan Bannatyne shook hands on a £100,000 deal with http://www.hungryhouse.co.uk, having been impressed with the pitch which demonstrated the benefits of ordering takeaway food via the internet. After the cameras stopped rolling, investment was offered and accepted from another source.
http://www.hungryhouse.co.uk allows customers to order from more than 2,500 restaurants across the UK through the website.
The site allows users to view all their local menus in one place, with more than 130,000 customer reviews to help customers find exactly what they’re after.
http://www.hungryhouse.co.uk is asking all customers intending to order to a graveyard or cemetery this Sunday to ensure they are aware of the address they are ordering to before placing their order.
Customers wishing to take advantage of the hungryhouse.co.uk free takeaway Halloween offer need only do the following:
1) Ensure that before Halloween, the graveyard or cemetery address they intend to order to is covered by hungryhouse.co.uk restaurants by searching the postcode on the homepage
2) Users need to know the postcode of the graveyard so that the correct information can be used when ordering the takeaway
3) Choose the meal they wish to order through the hungryhouse.co.uk website
4) Write the word “graveyard” in the “any special delivery instructions” box and the payment will be refunded once the address has been verified.
5) Brave the Halloween elements until the partnered restaurant delivery person arrives!
Graeme Horne, marketing manager for http://www.hungryhouse.co.uk had the following to say,
“With hungryhouse.co.uk, our aim is to make ordering takeaway food quick, simple and fun!
“For every order we get that includes the word ‘graveyard’ in the order comments box delivered to graveyards or cemeteries across the UK, we will reimburse the cost of the takeaway to ensure that hungry frightseekers are at least well fed!”
